Sierra Nevada Ski Mountaineering Peaks Overview

International Alpine Guides offers the best of the Sierra Nevada ski peak descents. From one day ascents and descents to multi day ski tours with a peak ascent, we have something for the aspiring ski mountaineer. Early Spring is the best time for many of these ski descents, but many can also be done mid-winter as well. We can ski guide most peaks throughout the High Sierra so if you have something in mind please contact us!

These skis are led by AMGA trained or certified ski guides who will be happy to share their many years of experience the Sierra Nevada mountains with you. Spending time with a qualified ski guide is invaluable to safely developing your backcountry skiing skills. We offer these at a maximum guide to guest ratio of 1:5

 


SKILL & EXPERIENCE LEVEL

Some previous backcountry skiing experience required. Additional experienced dependent on the objective.
